Wonderful. I don't own a Blu Ray player so this news is void for me.

I'm with Reep here. It sounds quite nice, with a lot of great things on the discs, but I don't own a blu-ray wadgemecallit, so it's not something which I can really get excited about.

I need a bluray player, a hdtv, and probably a $1000 just to buy all of that AND the complete saga on bluray. This is very expensive news. Rolling Eyes

That was my reaction.

And it gave me another reason to not like social networking.

Agreed. I am disappointed that the OT theatrical release is not included and that you have to get all 6 to get all the new bonus material. We probably won't see the theatrical release on blu-ray but that would be enough for me to go out and buy these.

Ugly box art. No announcement as to whether this will be the SPECIAL special edition with CGI Yoda in Episode I, and fixed red lightsabers in the OT (the DVD transfer turned them pink). Nothing compelling to warrant a huge purchase and an additional purchase of a Blu Ray player.

No thanks.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who is not impressed with the box art. I mean, the Yoda (prequels) and Vader (original) back to back thing is kind of cool, but everything else just looks sort of pasted on - the fact that Luke is taped on there in the bottom corner like Vader's mustache all crooked just makes me sad. I know it's "ANAKIN SKYWALKERS STORYYYYY" but you can't throw Luke aside like that come onnnnnn. Sad

Also, I don't have a blu-ray player so the news is also sort of a shrug moment for me. D:
