Well, I'm in the good ole' US and don't have a spare hundred bucks. The pain of being a broke college kid. Wink

I don't have a blu-ray player. Or a good TV to watch high def movies.

Damn it.

The Playstation 3 just had its price dropped to $250 and doubles as a gaming system. I think it's a pretty good value, especially if you're into renting films a lot, as it is integrated with Netflix and a few other services, as well as having its own Playstation Store for renting and buying films.

Edit: Digital Yoda CONFIRMED.

The "Humdinger glitch" is said to be fixed despite being in Comic Con footage -- apparently it was noted by a fan or fans at Comic Con, and specifically fixed in response to that. There's allegedly other changes...

It was also hinted at that the Holiday Special is on one of the discs as an easter egg.

CGI Yoda is a ray of bright sunlight for TPM as a whole.

I'm excited to see the CGI Yoda in the Naboo scenes now! I couldn't take the terrible puppet seriously the "only two there are" and "agree with the Council, I do not" scenes were of the utmost importance. Yes TPM is my favorite of the prequels but puppet "Yoda" was an abomination. Yaddle looked more like ESB Yoda than Yoda did.

I am disappointed to see that Jake Lloyd is still in the movie though. Maybe he'll be digitally replaced by a kid who can act in the 3-D version. Smile

Agree, digital Yoda looks awesome.

Way better than the puppet version.

Why didn't they just recreate the Yoda puppet from ESB? That version of Yoda is still the best.

Probably way easier to insert CGI Yoda than to recreate ESB puppet Yoda, and then digitally insert him without the puppeteers.

Still, CGI Yoda looks really nice. No complaints here. I'll be curious to see just how many changes they make this time around.

Like I said, I'm disappointed Jake Lloyd wasn't digitally replaced.

Holding out delusions that "Jedi Rocks" will be cut or somehow completely redone.

Any other changes, no matter how small, are going to be welcome and cool to see IMO. I don't have a blu-ray player but reading these articles on how meticulously they worked on the transfers for the movies and the goldmines of deleted scenes do have me considering getting one.

No, I mean originally. Why didn't they make the puppet in TPM look like it did in ESB? Where they trying to make him look younger (kind of silly if you think about it)? Neutral
