LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace

So, did anyone else catch the show over the weekend? I thought it was pretty hilarious, funnier than the Family Guy Star Wars episodes, but not quite as funny as the Robot Chicken ones. It was also family friendly for what it's worth. I thought the way it trashed canon with helpless abandon for maximum laughs worked well. The Vader bit was pretty funny. And hey, they killed Jar Jar, what more could you ask for?

I'm kind of hoping they do more of these.

Didn't watch it, as it wasn't on over here. It is on youtube, last time I checked, but the video was taken by a guy recording the TV screen, rather than downloading it from his set box and uploading it, though if you don't mind that there are several versions, the best I've seen is by some guy called 'star fox'. Just type in 'the padawan menace' and you should find it easily enough.

I did the "naughty" andf downloaded as it will not be shown AT ALL in Australia.

I thought it was great. Funny and clever. Animation was flawless and it was brilliant that
some voice actors from TCW and what seemed to be Anthony Daniels.
No spoilers but it was awesome

I really enjoyed it. It's not your typical Star Wars, but it was fun, lighthearted, and funny.

I agree with all of the above!! I was reluctant to watch it, thinking it would be too juvenile, but i was pleasantly surprised at actually funny humor. I think they struck the perfect balance of making it entertaining for kids but also included those bits for more older fans. all in all well done!

Ha, that was really good! There were several parts I really enjoyed, but one of them is when C-3PO says, "Poor Jar-Jar. *pause* Oh, well." Very Happy

Oh, and then another is when Palpatine is switching between himself and the Sith Lord. Ha! Laughing

They finally aired this in Canada!

On the original airdate, Teletoon decided not to show it. But they aired it last Friday!

This was sooooo good. I liked when Darth Vader kept showing up, and GL was all "You're not in this scene." Classic.
