Yeah, the mask does look quite similar, doesn't it? I for one liked the trailer a lot, good job with the music editing to create the darker atmosphere and all. I suppose the film will have a new, original soundtrack, right? But it won't be John Williams... Sad
I hate to disappoint you, but I'm pretty certain that wasn't Ewan McGregor's voice, it sounded a lot to me like the guy who voiced Obi-Wan in the Clone Wars cartoon series. I dunno, no offence, but getting an American to do an English accent... Confused
And yeah, remember when Anakin is knighted in the Clone Wars cartoon Vol.1, his hair is still short, in The Clone Wars film its getting longish, and in Clone Wars Vol. 2 (and ROTS) it's properly long, so he's definitely a knight before getting his apprentice, although I agree he gets Ahoska very fast (like Obi-Wan got him too fast...). Still, so looking forward to August!! Very Happy

Well, you'd be able to tell better than I can. However, the one time you do hear him, it does sound very good. I've been checking all the movie sites and no one as a cast member listed for Obi-Wan Kenobi in the movie or series.

James Arnold Taylor is not anywhere slated to voice Kenobi; he's the one who did last time and they got Anakin's voice (Matt Lanter) to return.

I love everything of it EXCEPT Ahsoka. She annoys me like no other. She's so immature and it reminds me exactly of a Disney channel character, they make them, I just don't know how to explain it, immature is the word I can only come up with. It's like, let's say they, being Anakin and her, are going to die slowly in a vat of bubbling oil, she cracks a joke and it's supposed to be funny but it isn't D:

But I love everything else : D

Have you read the novel? Those cracks may seem stupid at the time in the TV spots and commercials, but hearing them in the scene make her much more enjoyable.

I ordered the book over a week ago and am still waiting for it to be shipped! Grrr...but anyway. My library's getting the visual guide, and I'm second on the list. So can't wait to take a look at that!

The visual guide looks pretty neat. I hope they have a bunch of stuff on the new planets. They are sounding awesome. Some Hutt jungle world (Teth) and a crystal planet controlled by a Sep general. I'm hoping the Separatists general will be an interesting character.

Well, he has an interesting name I saw the visual guide at Borders and while I was impressed, I didn't see the need to pick it up just yet, if at all.

Well, yes..that's why I was excited that our library was getting it. They don't generally share my love for the beloved saga.

While I was at Books-A-Million the other day, I noticed a display table with all the Clone Wars books and such on it. There was a sign displayed in the middle: 40% off. While curious at such an early sale, I was quite ecstatic and prepared to grab up the entire table and rush with it to the register. But to my utter dismay...the display sign was for the previous lot of books that had been on the table. Sad

The book was pretty good...not as good as I'd hoped, though. But I did get attached to Rex and his troopers. That was inevitable, though. I always love the clones. Smile

I also liked the reference to Vader. Where Anakin said, "Impressive. Most impressive." Very Happy

Edit: And Ahsoka wasn't as bad I was dreading. I ended up coming to like her. But whether she'll be tolerable in the movie or not is still to be seen.

I not only liked the "Impressive. Most Impressive" part, but Obi-Wan, much like Luke, said, "Mighty Jabba...." That whole scene is reminiscent of the ROTJ scene with Jabba.

That's true, I remember vaguely noticing it. Too funny. Smile

The novel follows the movie, but it leaves out scenes, and key battles. Just going to see SW again with my friends is fun for me Very Happy

Still way to many spoilers for my taste. But to each his own.

It's not like the story is a big secret anyway Wink But, you're certainly right, to each his own. I know I won't be reading TFU novelization until after the game because that story is less known and predictable.
