Am I the only one who is really not at all interested in this book?

Well, I'll get it eventually. I'm not really exited for the book yet, but I interrested.
I guess I'll wait to see what others think about it and than decide where to put Scourge on my wanted list. (which is still way to long)
That said, the last excerpt did peak my curiosity instantly. But than again, it's supposed to, of course Smile

Lol I guess, but I'm just kinda eh about the idea of yet another Jedi Master that is being introduced even though there are tons of Jedi without much of a backstory from NJO on that could have gotten this to give them some perspective.

I'm about as interested in Scourge as I was for Crosscurrent. A random book about a new Jedi (I know Jaden Korr was pre-established, but I haven't played the games so he was new to me) that I have no attachments to going on a mission that doesn't sound all that interesting.

When I read Crosscurrent I loved it so we'll see how this turns out.

I read the excerpt for this book that was in Apocalypse (you might still be able to find it in the Amazon preview or in one of the other numerous excerpts out there). Anyways, it seemed interesting. The main Jedi guy is very underpowered, so it's a big change from what we typically see in Star Wars books. Usually the Jedi kick butt with ease.

I'm probably going to get this. Hutts and not-too-uber-crazy-powerful-Jedi. I like. Hopefully it'll be one of those "minor events, while having big risks and possible outcomes on the rest of the Galaxy" books, like Darth Maul Shadow Hunter.

And Skuldren, is the excerpt only in Apocalypse? Because the Amazon page doesn't have it.

On the Amazon page for Apocalypse, click the look inside thing. Scourge excerpt starts on page 467. There are two pages not included in the excerpt.

Me too. So far the excerpts don't really appeal to me but that might change if I read more from the book.

27-page excerpt.

Above the image, there will be a little pair of binoculars. Click them, then click the main image for a pop up of the excerpt.

These first-page-of-multiple-chapter excerpts are a bit weird. I think I liked the first two chapter excerpts better. Or just the prologue. Stuff like that acts as a better teaser/primer.
