I'm a little unsure, too, but that does sound like something that would happen. For him to leave, only to get signed up again. I'm more interested in that cover, though. At first I didn't even realise that it was Zayne. Looks different. Older, yes, but with a more effeminate face (despite the day old shadow). Looked a bit like that girl from the Twilight films.

Also, aren't those Mandalorians that Zayne is leading on both covers?

That makes very little sense to me.

I thought I saw an excerpt somewhere that said Zayne was being tasked with an undercover mission where he'd have to pretend to be a Mandalorian.

Ah. Ok that makes sense then.

Though him openly using the lighsaber kind of kills the whole "undercover" thing i would think.

*shrug*

I have yet to be disappointed with any Star Wars comic in the last 5-ish years, so I assume it will work somehow. Just something that struck me as "odd" .

I think it's interesting that there's a Carrick Station in TOR. JJM hinted that there might be other KOTOR comic mentions and tie-ins.

Oh now that is interesting.

Someone remind me what the time diffeerence is between? This could lead to a lot of cool in-between stories.

Newsarama did a really nice interview with John Jackson Miller on KOTOR: War. John talks about how the series will kick off, plus a lot of detail on the Mandalorians.

Very intriguing.

I am mildy worried about the "a familiar face isn't necessarily a friendly one" quote though.

I do rather hope they don't screw up how KOTOR (comics) ended.

I don't think it'll be Malak. They will be on the same side, still, so they're probably on friendly terms. I actually thought the 'familiar but not friendly face' would have been a Mando. Rholan or maybe even Canderous.

Thanks for the link! Interesting read.
