Rebel Scum News also had the blurb for #2:

Quote:
Boba Fett is dead, and whoever hired the hit squad had better run—as fast and as far as possible!

A mysterious avenger is on the trail of Boba Fett’s killers. Connor Freeman—a clone relation to Fett—has been drawn into the whodunit. Freeman, who feels like he could use some protection himself, has been recruited against his will to find and protect a particular bounty hunter on a distant world—in Mandalorian space!

Somehow I imagined the storyline to be more badass. Another Fett clone is just snore-worthy.

EDIT: It turns out Connor Freeman was in Blood Ties: A Tale of Jango and Boba Fett. I'm guessing Boba Fett is Dead will be in the same time period.

Okay, did anyone else look at the cover image and think Boba looked short?

You mean the image where you can only see his head and shoulders? Yeah, he looked pretty short in that Razz . Although, he did seem to be missing a neck.

The blurn for number 4 is about what I expected to happen about the middle of the series, so its no surprise, but this still looks like a very good series.

Looking forward to it.

Good article! He seems like a decent guy.

So, which era is it set in? 'Modern' day or film era?

@Life: Its prequel or Dark Times I think.

I just finished issue 1. I enjoy the artwork, but the story is too deep for one issue to be something I could review. All we got was a couple character introductions and the premise (a.k.a. a dead Boba). It has a lot of places it can go though, I'm impressed with what it could become.

It definitely raises a lot of questions. But yeah, too early to say too much. I have no idea where it's going to go. However, I definitely want to find out. Cool

Part of me wants Boba Fett to actually be dead, though. It seems so unlikely. Common sense says he's not really dead. But they could be bold and actually do it. With all the clones out there, it would be easy to do it and roll it right into canon and I think that would be pretty funny.
