In the game The Force Unleashed II, you get to visit Cato Neimoidia. It was certainly one of the more beautiful levels:

First of all, when I saw this title, I was just reminded of a great Stephen Colbert joke. The three most important things when buying a home are: Location, location, Bees.

Stephen Colbert wrote:
That's right, America, never buy a house that's infested with bees.

But as for favourite locale, I like mountains and ice and deserts (the least habitable ecosystems). In real life, I love the Swiss Alps and the Alberta Rockies.

In Star Wars, that translates nicely to Alderaan and Ilum. Ilum has those beautiful snowy/icy mountains and ice crystal caves. Alderaan has a lot of forest, but also those pretty mountainranges (as seen in Episode III). I'm really looking forward to these places getting expanded further in The Old Republic.

Favorite Locations: Lehon (both in books and games), the forest moon of Endor, and in video games, Hoth is always my favorite. And Korriban is usually fun.

Least Favorite Locations: sewers, any sewer, whether it's Coruscant or Nar Shaddaa, a book or a video game. Aside from that, Nam Chorios, Naboo (for the most part), and Malachor V.

Ooh, yeah. I had forgotten about Ilum. I love that planet. And thanks to Skuldren I now remember which planet I completely hate: Malachor V. Mad

Chalmuns Cantina. (Mos Eisley) Love Wurher the bartender and the Cantina band

Jabbas Palace. Max rebo band are cool but not the rancor pit

Cloud City. So beautiful.

A Coruscant Skyhook. Imagine the views of the planet you would get. Although not Xizors as it was blown up.

There's a WICKED poster on eBay of a sunset view of Coruscant, I might get it, I've got a night-time one. If I get a pet I want to call it Wuher.

One of the things I like about Star Wars is the setpieces. I've found that one of my favorite aspects of the Expanded Universe is that it has contributed a lot of settings to the Star Wars galaxy that are as good as the ones in the original trilogy -- one of them was incorporated into the prequel trilogy. The video games especially, particularly the Dark Forces derivatives and the KOTOR/TOR games.

Coruscant (Heir to the Empire and Dark Empire)
Nar Shaddaa, The Vertical City! (Dark Empire and Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight and Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast)
I like Hutta in SWTOR
Raxus Prime (The Force Unleashed, The Clone Wars)
Cato Neimodia (The Force Unleashed 2)
Byss (Dark Empire)
Zonama Sekot (Rogue Planet and the New Jedi Order)
Korriban (The Golden Age of the Sith)
Dromund Kaas (Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight - Mysteries of the Sith)

These planets feel like they inhabit the same universe as the films. In the films themselves, I like Endor a lot, even though it has a lot going on for a backwater planet on the fringe of Wild Space/the Unknown Regions. The Ewok movies were awesome. Same goes for Tatooine with regard to unwarranted significance, though I chalk that up in the films toward it having significance for the characters. I like what Veitch and KJA did with Yavin 4 in TOTJ.

Personally, I absolutely love Dxun. I could explore that moon all day. Smile

Yeah, I forgot Onderon and Dxun. And it's a pretty neat idea that their atmospheres occasionally overlap, resulting in flying beasts from Dxun invading Onderon.

Take a planet from KOTOR, KOTOR 2, or TOR and I probably like it. And Tales of the Jedi. And Dark Forces and its spin-offs.

It would be cool if a TOR expansion added both Dxun and Onderon though. Erickson has hinted that Mandalorians would be added as playable characters or a joinable faction, perhaps the Mandalorian camp is still there?

In the games, I was rather fond of Korriban and Lehon. Korriban because of the Egyptian motifs and Lehon because it's such a vibrant looking tropical world. It was fun just to gaze at the scenery on those levels in KOTOR.

Favorites: Dantooine, Mygeeto, Kashyyyk, Cato Neimoidia, Bespin

Least Favorites: Tattooine, Coruscant, Felucia, Raxus Prime (why would you ruin a perfectly habitable planet with garbage? I always thought that was stupid.)
