My question to you is; what are your favourite and least favourite places in the Star Wars Galaxy?

My favourites are Coruscant, Tatooine and Nar Shadaa.

Least favourite: Naboo

You can be as specific or as vague as you like.
Eg. you could say "The oil bath in Luke's room" or "The platform on Kashyyyk where Yoda pwned those clones" or just "Hutt space" or "the Kessel Run".

Love the original, Karen Traviss Manda'yaim. Csilla is cool, too. I just love the Unknown Regions in general.

Kessel is probably one of my least favorite locations, although I'm sure that if I think hard enough I can come up with someplace I dislike more.

I don't like Kamino either. I just remembered how much I love Mustafar and Felucia! Especially Mustafar! Plus, I think Coruscant might have actually been home to the Mandalorians, because the Mandos had their roots in the Taung, who lived on Coruscant before it was the awesome sprawling metropolis that it is.

And still.... I think you'll last longer living or visiting Naboo than you would visiting Nar Shadaa.
So do you mean favorite as in coolest place and lamest place or as in places you'd like to visit?

It's kind of open to your interpretation, but I meant coolest and "lamest".

Than I would say Tatooine, Nar Shadaa and Nal Hutta, Ryloth, Kashyyyk, Dathomir and Felucia are some of my favorites, but I also have to confess that there are not many worlds I don't like.
As for those, I guess Mortis (not really a planet, but anyway) is the lamest for me. It occurs to me now that most places I don't like are from TCW.
As I really disliked the old Marvels I bet the other places I don't like could be found there. Smile

Bear in mind it doesn't have to be planets, just places. Like you could hate Tatooine but love the MEC.

Favorites -- Kashyyyk, Jedi Temple on Coruscant, Ossus, Yavin 4, Bastion, Command Bridge of any Star Destroyer (seems to be a lot of action on 'em!).

Dislike -- Killik hives, Yuuzhan Vong Worldships, Jabba's Palace, and Mustafar

Coruscant is without a doubt my favourite setting. You couldn't pay me any amount of money to live there, but it always makes for a compelling storyline.

FotJFreak - Jabba's Palace is one of my favourite palces in the entire Galaxy! And what's with the Killik hives? I've never read about them, so I don't know much about them...

Danniko -- Jabba just creeps me out and his palace just looks dirty haha. I like the events that take place in it, like the Return of the Jedi scene, just not the palace itself. Another reason I put it as a disliked place is because I would never go there if it were real and Jabba lived there Smile

I'm sure there are quite a few others in that galaxy that dislike it, too Laughing .

I'd have to say Alderaan. I'm a sucker for big, natural, sweeping landscapes. Corellia, too, would be quite fun to visit. Naboo - I'm a sucker for some fine architecture. Ord Mantell.

I don't really dislike any places. I could live anywhere. Hoth, perhaps?

In general I like the art design in Star Wars. The only particular instance I can think of in which I wasn't particularly impressed is Utapau. It just seems rather boring.

Of particular note that I liked are Byss, Cato Neimoidia, Coruscant, Nar Shaddaa, the Endor moon, and Tatooine.

Crash, I think I disagree on Utapau, but apart from the massive holes it was pretty stupid.

I only caught a brief glimpse of Cato Neimoida in RotS when Plo Koon got pwned and I added it to my list of favourite places (not because it was where Koon was killed, it just looked pretty cool), even though Neimoidans are my least favourite species in the entire Galaxy! I must admit, Endor didn't really grab me if you go there, you know what you're gonna get, but in places like Jabba's Palace or Nar Shadaa or the Coruscant undercity, there's always something lurking at the edge of your eyeline. Or what long lost species will be hiding behind the next corner.
