1. Thrawn
2. Revan
The rest are kind of case-sensitive. In the EU, I'm very partial to many of the post-RotJ characters. My favorites from that era are Jaina and Jag (obviously), but I also loved Pellaeon, and Jacen from Traitor to the end of the NJO. Jaden Korr has been one of my fvorite characters since I played Jedi Academy, and Paul S. Kemp's novels have only made me like him more. And I love Luke the way he is currently being written as of Conviction (I haven't read Ascension yet).
My favorite movie character is RotJ Luke. My favorite prequel character is probably Obi-Wan (excluding Episode 2), and I really came to like him in the Jude Watson books as well, particularly Secrets. I loved how she wrote him discovering the logic behind the rules of the Order. When you read her books, the rules suddenly seemed to have a purpose, and Obi-Wan followed them because he understood the purpose, not just because they were the rules. I get the impression that the TV series threw all that out the window, but for me, that's just another reason not to wach it.

“Actually, I don’t quite recall. But I was made, so the existence of my maker is beyond question. And since I consider my existence to be a good thing, he was without a doubt benevolent and forward thinking.”
