Maul should have stayed dead on Naboo. No comebacks. It takes from what Obi-Wan did in my opinion. I like the idea of Savage Opress being Mauls brother but doesnt mean Maul has to come back. Opress could go after Obi-Wan looking for revenge.

TCW is up and down. There can be some great episodes and some boring ones. Very hit and miss.

It sounds like it's a good companion to go with Darth Plagueis.

That's one of the things I like about Darth Plagueis. You've got the stories like this, the Journal of Darth Maul, Shadow Hunter, "Marked," Jedi Council: Acts of War, Saboteur, and Restraint are all puzzle pieces and Darth Plagueis is the puzzle board.

I'm still withhold judgment on this. It still seems kind of meh to me. Why wouldn't every powerful Force user do this after being dealt a fatal blow?

Well, I think it's a dark side thing. Prolonging your life after you're dealt a mortal wound is unnatural.

Sion and Maul seem pretty similar in mentality so I think it works from that perspective.

After I posted it, it seemed to me that it's similar to what Plagueis was trying to achieve, which I find a bit ironic, especially considering

Where do you draw the line though. All the Sith Luke and Ben killed and FotJ could still be alive. Caedus could still be alive. Dooku could still be alive. Bane could still be alive etc.

I don't like it.

TFN did a really nice interview with Ryder Windham that covered a lot of Darth Maul stuff. I didn't know Windham was the one to coin the name Zabrak. Definitely worth checking out.
