I suppose it's similar to asking what your favorite SW film, but my answer isn't the same as my favorite film, although as a child it was my favorite film.
My answer is Return of the Jedi. I think a large part is that the music to it really was ubiquitous through the 90s EU, moreso I think that Empire Strikes Back and definitely moreso than the original film (which personally I think has an extremely underrated score). I think the tone of Return of the Jedi is really what defines Star Wars as a setting. I don't think Lucas was necessarily wholly satisfied with The Empire Strikes Back and was a lot more hands on with Return of the Jedi and consequently we got a film that's a lot more lighthearted and carefree in tone, yet still has the most powerful scene in the saga IMO. _________________ "Trust not the words of a poet, as he is born to seduce.
