A Cad Bane novel would be cool.

I'm still undecided on who shout write another Imperial Commando novel.

From what I read on his Wookieepedia page, he sounds like a great counterpoint for Boba Fett.

I think Natasi Daala has gotten enough page time, and I like her.

YES! I hope the new X-Wing novel will bring more "ordinary" characters to the forefront in the future.

I'd like to see Matthew Stover's take on it because it would be wholly different from Karen Traviss' view, and Stover has been confined to Force-users in his previous Star Wars novels.

With Dawn of the Jedi comic released, I'd like to see more from this era and The Old Republic era explored. There are so many stories from the Dark Horse Omnibuses just ready for novels. I'm really looking forward to the Nomi Sunrider novel.

Daala isn't one of the 12 Grand Admirals that the Emperor installed. I don't think she even took the name when she took over in Darksaber. I'm talking about the 12 guys the Emperor installed to gain more personal control over the military, or at least that's who it was described in one book. Sure have Thrawn be the best of the best, but the worst of the best would still have to be a military mastermind. So let's see how the Rebellion deal with them. Or show what they were so busy with that they weren't dealing with the Rebellion when the Emperor was still alive. It would be a nice twist if each of the 12 had their own little thing going like Thrawn did with the Empire of the Hand.

Having just finished Imperial Commando, I agree with SidiousThrawn. A second Imperial Commando novel would be great! However I fear if there was a second one it would be a shadow of Traviss' novels ... Sad

So unfortunate what happened to the Mandalorians in TCW, I bet Traviss could have worked out a viable retcon though, too bad she's no longer writing Star Wars.

How about a Jar Jar novel?

What if it was "The Death of Jar Jar"? Twisted Evil

Razz

I wonder if Jar Jar is ever going to die... I get the feeling Lucas would be miffed if Jar Jar got the death scene that fans want. Like Jar Jar swallowing an atomic bomb or something.

A Cad Bane novel and a novel explaining some of the New Mandalorian retcon would both be good, but I wouldn't expect anything based in the timeframe of TCW until the show is complete.

I'd like to see more of the Tales From ... In particular Tales of the Jedi and Tales of the Sith, showing members from various eras. If not an anthology connected by theme, just any Star Wars short story collections. The short story is the perfect format for sci-fi and under-used in SW.

Combo: Tales of the Grand Admirals Very Happy

Best of both worlds, another look at the Grand Admirals, and a tales book. It could cover a wide time period as well and would be a good way to showcase new authors and existing authors writing with underdeveloped or undeveloped characters.

I'd like to see a solo novel on the Adventures of Dash Rendar.

I would like to see some novels during the Dawn of the Jedi time. I love the ancient Star Wars history. I'm also a huge Sith and Sith species fan so more about them would be mouthwatering. Pureblood Sith are awesome. Maybe a book during the Hundred Year Darkness. I would also like to see books about the Sith Lords that bridge the gap from Darth Bane to Darth Plagueis. Maybe another Horror novel. Twisted Evil

To be honest, I was never a fan of the Tales of books. Mainly because I could never get past who they put in the books. Was a story really needed for every background character?

Maybe another Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter style novel, but not with Maul. Like small, new unknown characters in a story revolving around something quite major in the Galaxy. But not characters that will be "main characters" if you know what I mean. They won't be big like Wedge or Dash, but will play a big part without being noticed. Like an extended version of a story from the Tales of... books.
