What Book are you reading now? (Other than Star Wars)

I finished the first two parts of Fahrenheit 451 and oh. My. Goodness. Shocked

I can already say (unless the third part totally screws it up) that this is one of my favourite books of all time.

Recently finished Maskerade by Terry Pratchett and I must say that is was the funniest book I ever read. It is sort of a Phantom of the Opera parody so it had me in laughing fits 'til the end!

Finally finished Splinter Cell. The less said on that book, the better. Now reading Stephen Fry's The Liar. I'm only about 20 pages in, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it already.

Yes. For a spy who's supposedly the best, he got caught every. Single. Time. Or at least did something incredibly stupid and un-spy-y (like using a machine which he knew, or at least should have known, that makes a loud noise when used - while there was a guard in the same area). The prose was torturous. The plot was rather banal, and required leaps of logic to take seriously.

I'm reading Ender's Shadow, the companion novel to Ender's Game. Even if you've never read ender's game, you can still read ender's shadow because it takes place in the same time period as Ender's Game.

Tonight I plan to start re-reading "John Dies At The End" by David Wong. It's sequel, "The Book Is Full Of Spiders (Seriously Dude, Don't Touch it)" came in the mail last week.

Well I just started on A Calculated Risk but I ain't really making progress with it. I think I'm on page 10 or something. Sad

Anyway, a few weeks earlier I bought the most recent book in the TimeRiders series. I was SO psyched when I saw City of Shadows in the bookstore and didn't hesitate to pull out my purse. I'm so glad to add another book to my prized collection and was finished with it in two days!

Year of the Black Rainbow by Claudio Sanchez. It was ridiculously annoying to get a copy of but worth it thus far. I'm a huge Coheed & Cambria fan and finally getting the novel form of the first part of the story is great. I've read the so-so comics and the story is great (though in comic form very poorly executed) and this novel is really getting me excited. I'm such a geek.
