Man, I thought this episode was going to be a lot more gruesome than it was. I knew the Termites were cannibals going into the episode and there were a lot of quotes from cast members about how horrifying this episode was and... it wasn't. At least, it wasn't any more gruesome than normal.
I say none of this to complain (in fact I'm a bit relieved
) and I really loved this episode. My heart was racing for the first few minutes before the credits. That was by far the most tense part of the episode. Once Rick got free, I could breathe a lot easier.
Even though it was an action heavy episode, there were some great character moments. Carol was awesome. Rick was awesome. I loved Glenn's line "That's still who we are. It's gotta be." And Daryl reuniting with Carol made me the happiest I've ever been while watching this show. I've really grown to love some of these characters.
I liked the back story of Terminus. It was easy to see why they do what they do and makes the line between Rick's group and their enemies even thinner. I didn't really get the cannibalism part though to be honest. I understand why Gareth & co. kill people when they arrive, but... why eat them? That seemed a bit of a stretch to me.

There is the utter east.
