Hmm. That's the problem with comics and TV shows. They don't know when to quit. I was hoping the creators had some sort of ending in mind rather than just making it up as they go along.

I'll probably read the first two paperbacks after I'm finished with Season 2 and we'll see after that.

I propose reading anything by Brian K. Vaughan. He knows when to quit. He's on his 3rd Original story and the first two ran for just long enough to be perfect, I literally have zero complaints (and I normally nitpick like crazy).

I have a complaint, BKV sucks at writing female characters. He's like the Joss Whedon of DC comics... Whedon being the Whedon of Marvel and Darkhorse.

And speaking of sucking at writing female characters, I hate what Walking Dead TV did with Andrea. Like for the entire show. They really blew it with her character. Some of the character development on the show is great, and others they don't even try. Don't get me started on TDog... I'm still mad.

I watched 18 Miles Out.

You were right, Caedus, this was a very good episode. Rick is freaking awesome. This was a great episode for him.

Its possibly the best the show has to offer. Wall-to-wall character work, a change in status quo while also returning to it, and the best hint at what is to be revealed you'll get all season. The show never stood taller than on the day that episode aired.

"This Sorrowful Life" season 3, episode 15 was the best one and

for me.

*spoiler doesn't give away any details, but still might give something away, hence the censor.

PS. I just went back and read through the old posts. WUT comics Rick gets his hand chopped off? haha, so Kirkman pulled a George Lucas and RR Martin. Did he at least replace it with a chainsaw?

Ha! No, just a bandage.

And I agree, that was one of the best episodes of the show as well.

My main issue with season 3 was that the 'midseason break' thing came and it lost all steam for me, I'd had time to forget and not care anymore so I think that may be its main issue.

Let that seed go deep down inside you and grow. Let it become more, let it become encapsulating, let it steer you. You won't be disappointed.

Why was this spoiler tagged? Out of respect for your first watch Reep, we've been spoiler tagging, but you probably don't have to as many major spoilers have already been posted on this thread in pages back without any tags.

It's cool that people on here tend to tag everything at all times, but for an ongoing series I personally usually only do it until after a week or so of an episode airing, I figure after that it's fair game to blurt out.

Yeah, as originator of this thread, I'm good with old spoilers. But I think comic spoilers would still be nice in tags. Old episodes are fair game.
