| If it's Tales of the Underworld, we could have a macguffin like some prized object everyone wants. People could be hired to get it, steal, etc. |
Maybe a bunch of bounty hunters/smugglers/treasure hunters are hired to find this thing, and each story would end with them entering the room where the thing is, then the final chapter is what happens when they're all there. Maybe there's some big reveal that there is no secret object, they were all hired for some other reason.
I'm thinking Coruscant/Nar Shadaa for the setting, and we could have stories about the thrill seeker, the guy with a passion for treasure, the Hutt who hires a bunch of foot soldiers etc.
I think with the whole "they end up in the same room at the end" thing that I said, the only way we can really go would be to have a big reveal, as a massive bounty hunter battle would be tedious. Unless you guys have any other ideas.
Edit: Just realised this could feel more like a normal book, rather than a Tales of. |
We could use elements of this idea. Instead of making it various underworld types seeking the treasure all at once, it could be an ancient treasure, where different people try and find it over time. We'd get an Old Republic story, something pre-TPM, something in the Clone Wars, a few later on, etc. That kind of thing.
Regardless of where it ends up at the end of story A, it ends up lost again, to be found again. _________________ It was the year of fire… the year of destruction… the year we took back what was ours.

It was a new age. It was the end of history. It was the year everything changed.
The year is 2261.
