This new splinter sect of the Jedi Order that allows attachment. Far as I know, this is new. But what I really like is the revelation that the Jedi Order used to allow attachments. Perhaps this isn't anything new, but to me it sounded like it didn't happen all that long ago. Add this to the whole Gray Paladin sect, and I'd say the Jedi Order is getting a whole lot more interesting.

If you've read the Tales of the Jedi Omnibuses then you know they used to allow attachments. I haven't read the book nor do I care about spoilers: Darth Skuldren, can you tell me what happens to the Jedi that worked with the commandos in Triple Zero and presumably in the next two books?

Not sure if you just wanted the ending or complete summary on her, I'll be thorough just to be safe. The Jedi, Etain Tur-Mukan, has a kid with one of the clone troopers, Dar. In Order 66 she finally reveals to Dar that Kad/Venku is theirs. He takes it pretty rough at first and even beats up Kal Skirata for wanting to keep it secret from him in the first place. But they work it out and he's fine with it. Then things start escalating and it becomes time for Kal and his clone sons to pull out and head to Mandalore. They're all waiting on the ship for Etain to arrive, cause she's the last one left. Omega squad, the Nulls, etc are all with Kal already. So Etain's making her way there, tension is building cause there are reports going around of the Jedi Temple being up in flames, Jedi trying to kill Palps, Clone Troopers taking down Jedi. Well Etain is getting closer and closer then gets to a check point. First off their searching bags. Go figure she still has her lightsaber in her bag, yet she never does seem to see this as a problem. Also the others are bouncing off the walls waiting for her so now they've gone out to get her and pick her up. She's right about to go through the check point and then be home free, Dar and Niner are standing by, Kal and some Nulls are in a speeder as back up. Then bam! Two other Jedi get caught as they are going through the check point. They ignite their lightsabers and engage the clone guards. In the fray that ensues, Etain finds herself next to a clone trooper who is about to get cut in half by a lightsaber. So without thinking, she steps in front of the clone trooper and blocks the blow...with her own body. Thus she dies. It was sad.
