The part after Order 66 where Vau points out Jango got his revenge in the end against the Jedi from the grave was amazing. I never looked at it from that perspective and I have a new respect for Jango's character.

Anyone find it odd that the freighter pilot stumbled across Levet and a pair of Jedi?
A Kamonian jedi no less, living among the Mandos? Will Jaing get to make a scarf to go with those gloves?

I think Traviss is setting up a great war epic that will continue with the Imp Commando series. The idea of Skirata clan possibly facing their demons through hiding a Kaminoian Jedi has my head spinning!

I thought the book was marvelous, as I believe Darth Skuldren put it. I'm very sad that Etain died, but then I was expecting someone to go. Not her, though. I like how they put Scout "Esterhazy" in it, and Levet. And then I was wondering why Sev had to go missing, but I'm just recalling something somebody told me about the game. Cause I never played the whole thing. They said it ends with Sev being MIA. So I guess Traviss went along with that. And I also have more respect for Jango now. Though it's very hard for me to see the Jedi in a good light anymore. I'm quickly adopting Skirata's contempt for them. And Obi-Wan is one of my favorites!

Edit: Oh, and what was with the subtle mention of Tru Veld? Is Traviss trying to set up a way for him to still be alive? Because as of the moment he is simply presumed dead.

Jusik had a good comment - how the Jedi were made complacent by looking the other way when it came to the clones. They could not see the 'wrong' in front of them. I think we are meant see that no one is 'clean' in the Clone Wars, not even the Mando's. You are right the Jedi have strong ideals and everyone trusted them to do right - so they did fail. But Traviss makes a strong point that everyone was complacent to what was happening.

I was worried the moment Kad handed her the toy and she took it to Kashyck with her. That whole block of the story leading to Order 66 and the escape was so well set up in the book. The way she used the time - we knew it was going down at about 1090 days, it was so built up. I definitely had a lump in my throat.

In Revelation (or whatever book it was) isn't Kad hanging out with Jusik? So does this mean that Dar never comes back? Or does it mean that they never got the cure for the clones' aging? Or does it simply mean that Dar has already passed away? I am indeed curious.

We see Jaing earlier in the series - he delivers the cure/ a cure to Fett. He makes reference that there are more in the clan. No idea if Dar is gonna make it, but interesting to me is that Kad goes by the name Kal gives him in the LOTF series: Venku.

Yeah, I did think about that. If everybody's used to calling him Kad now, why does he revert to Venku? And I do remember Jaing giving him the cure, now that you mention it. I'll definitely have to go back and skim those parts of the story, because I've got pieces of the story flying all around in my head. And at the moment it's not making too much sense.

Well Dar was a first generation Clone, so to speak, so he's older and not going to live as long even with the cure. Jusik is a Jedi, and Jedi seem to live longer. Venku was Dar's kid, so of course he's likely to outlive his old man. However, it's entirely possible Dar is still alive and just didn't show up. And since the Nulls are still around, and Skirata was actually talking about extending the clones lives, not just making them normal, toward the end of Order 66. So Dar should probably be alive as far as age goes if he got the cure.
