There must be more for her character coming up. Because it just does not seem like Traviss to introduce a character and then not use them. Speaking of which, I'm always going to wonder about the mind Jusik sensed in the asylum but wasn't able to recover. That's going to annoy me so bad! Confused

Wasn't that Jango's sister?

Yeah, it was. I didn't even know he had a sister. Confused

Nobody did. It was revealed in the book. I wonder what would happen if she showed up later and Boba met her. He'd have a crazy aunt. That could be funny. Very Happy

That could be a good plot twist. Traviss would make it happen too.

If you read Open Seasons, a graphic novel that goes over Jango's life, I don't see where a sister can fit in, but I'll have to read it again. Argh, I'm getting very annoyed with all these things popping up in the past that make everything more complicated and confusing than clearing it up. I don't know what more to think of all this Confused

I'm rereading the Republic Commando books and just got back around to Order 66. Hopefully it'll make a lot more sense this time! Much as I loved it, there was so much I couldn't remember. Confused

But anyway, I just noticed a couple of mistakes on the Dramatis Personae page. The following are listed as such:

1. General ETAIN TUR-MUKAN, Jedi Knight (male human)

2. JILKA ZAN ZENTIS, Treasury tax enforcement officer (male human)

Both of them are female. Hmm...just seems odd to have two such obvious mistakes on the first couple pages of the book. But not that it really matters, I guess. *shrugs* Just commenting.

Wow...I cried this time around when Etain died. Or when Kal carried her off the ship and Ordo started to sob. That's when I cried. And I didn't cry last time. I guess I've gotten more attached with this second readthrough. It's so sad. Crying or Very sad

Just finished it for the first time. I cried when Etain died, holy crap that was sad. But I have to say, it was definetly my least favorite out of all the commando books. I think it could've been written alot better and I didn't particularly like the way Etain died. Boring in some areas too, I thought, which wasn't a problem with the other books for me. Overall, I expected so much more from it and was dissapointed. Sad

You haven't read it yet? Whoops...though it has been awhile. I would think you would have already heard about that. Confused

I loved it, but was bummed when Etain died. I think I was even more bummed that Dar, Niner and Delta got stuck on coruscant. I was really hoping they would get out of there.

I'm hoping that come the IC books, those guys find a way out.

At least we know Karen Traviss gets to finish this series- I think I'd be devastated to lose those as well as the Military Guide and the Boba Fett stand alone. And she'll have one more TCW TPB to go.
