About a week ago it was revealed that Lucasfilm registered three new domain names; "Star Wars: Identities".

There was much speculation around the Internet, but almost no one got it right. Star Wars: Identities will be an exhibition, detailing the character developments of Luke and Anakin Skywalker, focusing on the scientific and psychological side of their progressions.

The event will be held in Montreal, Canada on the 19th of April 2012.

From what I gather, we have some Canadians in the forums, will you be going? Or will anyone travel to Canada to see this?

I live in Calgary, 3 hours south of Edmonton.

I definitely will be going.

And I'll post pictures for those of you not lucky enough to be Canadian.

I've read the interview and I have to admit, I still don't have a clear picture of what this exhibit is doing. Seems like they got a little wordy, and they've got some lofty ideas...but I'd appreciate a laymen's description of what it actually is.

For anyone interested:

The Star Wars: Identities exhibit, currently at the Telus World of Science in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, is set to close on 1 April 2013, and presumably move on to its next location.

That said, the website for the museum exhibit does not say what the next venue is (just says "Coming Soon!") It's possible that they're shutting the exhibit down.

I saw Identities when it was at the Montreal Science Centre, and absolutely loved it. Find my write-up here: http://www.eucantina.net/archives/12510. I also made an appearance on The Star Wars Report describing the experience (I don't remember the episode name, but it was mid-to-late May 2012, and I think the episode title was "Starvengers".)

If you're interested, and have the opportunity to visit Edmonton in the next 2.5 weeks, I wholeheartedly recommend seeing Identities before it possibly goes away forever.

Well south Florida is a little to far of a trip for that event. However this weekend I will be attending "Star Wars: where science meets imagination" link here

At the Orlando convention center. It is an exhibit with props from all 6 movies, breaking down the real world science behind SW tech. Could be pretty cool! Will report back.
