I've been away for some time. Things went quiet on voting for a while and I forgot, combined with a long period of loss of interest in the fandom. But any chance I could pop back in?

ALso how is everyone?

Absolutely! Welcome back, Darth_Henning. Smile

What caused the loss of interest in Star Wars?

Ben Skywalker wins

Round 3, Match 4:

Natasi Daala

or

Sev

Daala for me.

Thanks man! How's it going?

Mostly the reboot (I wrote an article on this actually), but kind of got dragged back in with Rogue One and have been enjoying some of the new stuff. Then Thrawn (the book and the 6 inch figure) happened, and I'm back baby.

Much though I like Sev better, Daala had way more impact on the franchise.

Daala.

Sounds similar to me. I think Rebels saved me from total apathy towards Star Wars, but TFA really took the wind out of my sails. And then Rogue One came out and I adored it. Now I'm cautiously looking forward to TLJ, keeping my expectations low, and hoping to be surprised.

Link, link, link. I wanna read it, too. Smile

While I love the Commandos, including Sev, I agree Daala had way more impact. Daala for me.

Just finished Part 1. Loved it and agree with every point! I am still bitter and anti-reboot, even more so after having seen The Force Awakens. Sad

I feel the same as everyone. All truly speaking of my feelings! Still angry about TFA! But "Rogue One" was awesome!!! Very Happy

My salvation were: "Dark Disciple" Fantastic; "Tatooine Ghost" (Yeah... I had not read it yet!! Embarassed ); re-reading vol. 11-18 of The Jedi Apprentice (Severe nostalgia for Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan); a few other SW books, then came "THRAWN"! Regrettably, sat on it for a few months!

But, Thrawn is such a good book!! I was savoring every page... starved for some exciting SW nuggets. Read every page twice or trice and then read a few chapters over again!! lol

Since I never really lost hope; I checked the EUC many times, but so lethargic that i just looked!

I pray... "The Last Jedi" ... better be good or else!!!!! Wink

My vote for this round (reluctantly since I don't like her much!!) Daala!

HELP ME Obi-Wan ...

Good article at the time, DH! I think it'd be interesting to revisit those ideas now that we're a couple years into the "new canon". Like most here, I was against the "legends" move, but was hopeful for a new more consistent canon...and hoping that some of the legends stuff would be re-canonized somehow or another.

I really didn't hate TFA and I'll still defend it as the logical move by Disney Wink

I enjoyed Rogue One but I have far more problems with it as a movie than I do TFA.
