It just so happened that Xizor was the picture in the top right corner, which almost made me change my mind. But I still can't figure out what's the right way to pronounce his name, so I'm sticking with Malak.

The commercials for the action figures back in 1997 pronounced it SHEE-Zor.

Somehow, I'm capable of remembering a toy commercial from 17 years ago, but I can't remember to take my car for an oil change. Priorities!

I'm going with creepy Xizor, 'cause I'm not very familiar with Malak.

Darth Malak was a cool character, but playing as Revan, I really bought into the story, so I can't help but continue to think of him as my arch enemy who much be electrocuted with Force Storm...relentlessly...without mercy...oh that was so fun. Laughing

Malak was a Woos lol!!Confused and Force Lightning or "zapping" him was extremely satisfying... Laughing Twisted Evil Laughing

I'm voting for Prince Xizor. Hey, ... he had Vader worried for a few days!! Wink

It's pronounced that way because there's a passage where Xizor's droid says "Shee-zor". I still personally pronounce his name "Zie-zor", though.

Xizor! Hated this guy since the day the N64 launched and I brought home Shadows. Hatered wins over indifference.

I have also always pronounced it "Zie-Zor"; but Wookieepedia says: Xizor (pronounced /shē'zōr/)

So..., I am trying to change my habit of calling him Zie-Zor to Shee-zor ... lol but its not easy! Confused since I still like Zie-zor better!! Laughing Laughing

Xizor for me Malak was nothing but a brute and slave to the darkside with no tactical sense

There is debate as to whether or not the droid in the book slurred his name and mispronounced it. And yes, Zie-zor is definitely better!

Yeah, ^ that's what's confusing me. It said in the book that the droid was mis-pronouncing it, it doesn't say how it was mis-pronouncing it, or even how it should be pronounced. For all we know the 'shee' could be correct but the zor might be a incredibly insulting to Falleen.

Laughing That was Xizor's first job: selling counterfeit sea shells. Paved the way to so much villainy.

Prince Xizor! I remember that Shadows of the Empire was the first EU book I read and immediately loved the new villian in the picture!
