The best character ever thread had me thinking about character deaths. In Star Wars, be it the movies or the books, comics, etc, there's been some epic deaths over the years. So what's your favorite? Or what recent death stood out to you?

To kick things off, I'm going with Borsk Fey'lya for one of the best deaths in the EU. He was invented by Timothy Zahn for Heir to the Empire and died in Star By Star, I think, which would have been Troy Denning.

In his death, the politician who constantly irked the main characters and every turn and coincidentally earned the ire of every reader, when out like a badass as they say. He blew himself up and wiped out thousands of Yuuzhan Vong. In the end, he earned some redemption.

Honestly for deaths I gotta go Ganner. There were better characters and ones I'll miss more but his was the one that I think falls under the category "epic" in a way we just don't see from anyone else.

I think I might have cried when he died. Such a moving death, that I forgive Stover for killing him. Never forget the Ganner Cool
