I picked up the Bounty Hunter Wars trilogy at a second hand store the other day. These books seem to slip under the radar and I don't remember them ever being discussed on here. Anyone read them?

I'm not sure when I'll get around to reading them, but I'm looking forward to seeing how Fett is portrayed pre-AoTC.

The Bounty Hunter Wars were a good read. They're definitely different, but I thought it was a very good trilogy. I recommend it. Smile

Of course I've read them Very Happy

As for memories, those are very vague. I've never reread them, and I read them many moons ago when I first got into the EU. I recall Shell Hutts, a spider merchant who lives in space, and remarks about how painful it was for Fett to talk because he so rarely did it Laughing

I recall reading those, and enjoying them, but only if you're really interested in some good bounty hunter stories. If you aren't specifically in the bounty hunter mood, then avoid.

I liked how it was half flashback and half "present" (right after ROTJ).

Do they fit in good with the Tales of The Bounty Hunters, or whatever that book was called?

These books were great and they heavily focus on a recently escaped Boba Fett from the Sarlacc plus a mystery girl with amnesia. its a bit disappointing in the reveal but its a great story. We see the bounty hunters guild in all its glory plus Bossks father Craddosk.

Prince Xizor, the Emperor and Vader make some cameos too.

Completely independent from the Tales book. They neither contradict nor support it one way or the other. Except that Boba Fett is alive after Episode VI, which is depicted in both, if memory serves (and depicted consistently).

Still, not all books need to build off of each other specifically.

I own all three, but I think I've only read the first, and didn't like it that much. That was several years ago, though, so maybe I should give it another go.
