I haven't been able to stand the Fel family after it has started to look that they will "replace" the Solos. Creating them has been the biggest mistake in EU after Anakin's and Chewbacca's deaths. And I don't really like what it means for the Solos - who have fought against the Empire and for democracry and justice - to be replaced as the "second family" in EU by a bunch of Imperial fanatics who end up as Palpatine's heirs, leading a resurgent Empire, for the benefit of the hidden Sith. I really hope there are no more Fels alive in Legacy comic time than we have seen so far and that the family will die out in the male line with Roan Fel. So, how this connects to Invincible? If Jacen dies and Jaina ends up with that Fel, it will be the last nail on the coffin on the Solo family. Sad

If any movie characters die, I think it's Han. Caedus, like you said, he's a prime candidate: he doesn't do that much, so he's not a major plot loss, but at the same time his death will get a BIG reaction.

Yeah, see, I just loved Han when I was a kid (no homo). I really really don't want him to die. I did, however, see something in another thread. The guy was talking about Han and Boba dying back to back in a hopeless situation, but taking a whole lot of people with them. I think that would be perfect. A tragic end to a life of difficulty and tragedy, sacraficing himself becoming a hero (as if he wasn't already) and dying with his rival fighting by his side. Its cliche and poetic, but a darn good thought that guy had. I'd be okay with something like that.

Does anyone know if Invincible will have a short story or preview in it?

Regardless I can't wait for the 320 pages of goodness to hit store shelves. I wonder how Ben and Jaina's roles will coincide in the book. With Ben learning that Caedus really did kill his mom, and Jaina training for the role of taking him down, will Ben simply stand by or will he want to partner up with Jaina? And will Jaina accept his help if he offers it? And what will Luke think about Jaina going after Caedus?

Maybe the Jedi will send a strike team with Jaina. It might even the odds or get a lot more people hurt.

Hardcover will not have any extra material, but the paperback version will probably have some, but what will be is another thing. Perhaps just a preview, perhaps a short story.

I actually don't know for certain, I'm just speculating based on the Falcon advert. I have steered clear of all spoilers beyond seeing who is in the Falcon book and when it takes place.

Hopefully I didn't ruin anything or put false thoughts in anyone's minds, although as JC said, Jacen's death is something I'm expecting.
