As revealed at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, Alan Dean Foster will be returning to Star Wars to write the novelization for The Force Awakens. He said he's 90% done. The book will get a digital release on opening day for the film, and will be followed in January by a hardcover release. This kind of falls in line with what they did with the J.J. Abrams Star Trek novelizations.

Damn. Is it possible to push our nostalgia buttons harder than Disney is doing here?

I read on Cracked about how Star Wars was on The Donny and Marie Osmand Show, and then I remembered that Billy Dee Williams was on Dancing With The Stars, so it sort of came back around.
