Story and Plot:
The next chapter in the Star Wars saga, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed , tells the story of Darth Vader’s Secret Apprentice, a mysterious figure trained by the menacing Sith Lord, to hunt down the last of the Jedi.
Set in the dark times between Episodes III and IV, the story is both a continuation of the prequel trilogy – exploring the aftermath of Order 66, which called for the immediate execution of all Jedi, and focusing on the continued rise of Darth Vader – and a direct bridge to the Original Trilogy. The Force Unleashed will forever change the fate of the Galaxy and explain key plot points that directly lead into events in Star Wars: A New Hope.
The Secret Apprentice’s journey takes him across the Galaxy—from the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk to the junkyard planet Raxus Prime and the mushroom-covered planet, Felucia.
He is aided in his dangerous missions by a loyal sidekick PROXY - a prototype holodroid with amazing abilities, and an alluring Imperial pilot named Juno Eclipse.
The Apprentice will clash with powerful enemies, including the spirited Zabrak warrior Maris Brood, Jedi Master Shaak Ti, and General Rahm Kota, a hard-boiled Jedi soldier who senses that the Apprentice is destined to become something far greater than just Darth Vader’s servant.
You will play as the "Secret Apprentice" through a third-person perspective for the majority of the game.
Your primary force powers are Force push/pull, Force Grip, Force Repulse, and Force Lightning.
The game uses Digital Molecular Matter by Pixelux Entertainment and euphoria by NaturalMotion Ltd. They are both new and never used before technologies. More can be learned on Lucasart's FU official site's "Tech Info" page.
Because of DDM, Havoc, and Euphoria engines all working together, the game will feel more realistic than any game to date.
All versions of the game will tell the same story and feature all the same characters, but they each do it in their own unique way.
The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game WILL NOT have mulitiplayer functions.
Facts: Characters and Plots:
The entire first level will be played as the Dark Lord of the Sith himself, Darth Vader. You will take control of him as he goes to Kashyykk to find his apprentice.
A central theme of the game is redemption, and you can expect many twists and surprises along the way to go along with it.
The Secret Apprentice's codename given by Vader is Starkiller, while his birth name is Galen Marek.
According to Haden Blackman, the Secret Apprentice is the son of two Jedi. Apparently, they live on Kayshyykk during Order 66 and the Jedi Purge. The mother is killed while saving local Wookiees from Trandosan Slavers (Not yet confirmed), and the father by the blade of Vader. (Presumably the man seen in Spike TV's video containing the first level.)
The name of the Apprentice's father is "Kento," as revealed in the Force Unleashed issue of GamePro Magazine. The mother is currently unnamed.
The Secret Apprentice shares a love interest with Juno Ellipse, the pilot of his ship, the Rogue Shadow.
Don't be fooled by the red lightsaber; the Secret Apprentice isn't all Sith, and Vader does use a device to control him, which can be seen on his left shoulder.
Many well known characters will be in the game, including Darth Vader, Palpatine, Princess Leia, Bail Organa, Obi-Wan Kenobi and more, with Leia and Organa playing major roles.
Vader is voiced by Matt Sloan, who played Chad Vader in the Youtube hit "Chad Vader: Day Shift Manger
Senator Bail Organa is voiced by Jimmy Smitts, who played him in the movies.
According to a cut-scene, Mom Mothma and other Rebellion leaders will be seen and the birth of the Rebellion will be told.
The game itself spans several years, starting at the conclusion of Revenge of Sith, and ending at the start of A New Hope.
There are three endings for the game, (light, dark, and neutral, presumably.) and the book for the game will follow it up until your last choice, making an official canon side for the Apprentice.
Every Jedi character (Dark and light) will have over-the-top, crazy force powers and abilities.
Because Vader is using you to destroy the Emperor, he is the only one that knows of your existence. That is why everyone- Imperial or not-is an enemy to you; you must not leave witnesses.

Lucasarts has stated that, " All these characters are going into the continuity, they’ll all be canon, and they’re all part of the Star Wars galaxy. So I can imagine that there will be other follow-ups with those characters. We’re already starting to toss around ideas about the next storyline and how some of these characters can resurface and have major roles in a sequel."- Haden Blackman, Celebration Europe
