I'm reading Battlefront: Twilight Company right now but I'm not very far. It's not bad at all, I like it.

I'm reading Rebel Rising by Beth Revis. It's a new Disney Lucasfilm book. Nice hardcover, about the size of Lost Stars. It's pretty good so far. It starts with Jyn being 8 and follows what happened right after Saw picked her up, where they went, and her coping with her mom's death and her dad not being there.

I just finished Lost Stars and oh my god it is so good!!!!!!

I'd say it's the best story in the new canon so far (definitely the best novel; Darth Vader is my favourite comic), and better than most Legends EU novels I've read.

Next, I'm going back to reading Legends books. Next one on my reading list is Red Harvest.

If you haven't yet, read Bloodlines. Same author.

^^That one's pretty high on the list, but I want to finish my SWTOR books first (still need to re-read Red Harvest and Fatal Alliance, and read for the first time Annihilation).

Also: I just finished a write-up about my enjoyment of new canon novels, with a major focus on Lost Stars. http://taralbooks.blogspot.ca/2017/05/star-wars-new-canon-lost-stars.html

Finished Rebel Rising by Beth Revis which was really good. Nice deep dive into Jyn's character that shows what happened to her between the events of Lah'mu and Wobani. Also show more on Saw and his rebel activities.

Now I'm reading Guardians of the Whills by Greg Rucka. Ok so far.

I'm off to the Netherlands for two weeks (first time out of Canada and first time on an airplane! Shocked ). I'm bringing The Cestus Deception by Steven Barnes with me.

Fingers crossed for your trip, I love flying!

Any recommendations for newer Star Wars books? I'm feeling the itch and I want to read one. I've gone through Twilight Company, Bloodline, Thrawn, Tarkin, Rebel Dawn, Rogue One, and Lords of the Sith. Oh, and the one about Quinlan Vos and Asajj Ventress. Just looking to get back into it and I'm about to get my new Audible credit so if anyone has recommendations I'm down.

The aftermath trilogy was pretty good, it had some fun new characters in it.

I'm working on The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance. It reminds me a lot of the game, in that the four main characters represent each of the player character classes, and the setting is very "Cold War between the Republic and the Empire."

Next will be TOR: Annihilation, then on to some new canon for a bit. I've just picked up the Rogue One novelization (in paperback) and Battlefront II: Inferno Squad (on sale).

Finished Inferno Squad. I liked it. It's very character focused and deals more in tackling concepts and morals than action, which is a plus and a minus. It took a while for me to get into the book, but by the end, I did enjoy it.
