Lucasarts' title around The Clone Wars exclusively for the Wii. Discuss! More information can be found here. _________________ Andrew: EU Cantina.net Founder/ Communications Manager

I'd rub it in if I had a Wii, fact is, I'm in the same boat as you. There's a fancy smancy white box with 360 on it next to my tv, and that's what will be playing TFU, but not Lightsaber Duels. _________________

I don't have a Wii (yet), but to be honest, I'm glad its getting a game like this. Hopefully it will be the experience the fans have been waiting for. _________________ Andrew: EU Cantina.net Founder/ Communications Manager

I think the game itself would be enough to satisfy them. _________________ "You're as Vile as he was!" Mara spat.

So, what did everyone think of the trailer? I thought it was awesome! I'm might just buy a Wii for this and TFU (and, of course, my old gamecube games.) _________________ Andrew: EU Cantina.net Founder/ Communications Manager

I"m iffy. It reminds me of the Episode III multiplayer mode which, while fun, did not make for a full game. If this is all there is to the game, I'm a little worried...
But then, it's lightsabers wtih a wiimote! Who am I to complain? |

While it will only be this, it no doubt is longer and improves upon to ROTS multiplayer, which many, including myself, loved. _________________ Andrew: EU Cantina.net Founder/ Communications Manager

| I'm not saying it won't, only that I'm still not sure a game solely focused on "dueling" is going to be fulfilling. Again, I reserve judgement. I just want to see more of the game before I endorse the idea behind it. And I am eagerly awaiting said information. :D |

Well if its a Star Wars version of the popular Smash Bros. (or Soul Caliber) I would say it has a lot of potential. Its also nice to see Nintendo getting more Star Wars games for the Wii, I always thought that the Gamecube was left out in a lot of cases (for no real good reason in my opinion). Hopefully the Wii won't have the same thing happen.
The real challenge will probably be making it different from TFU multiplayer. There are only so many ways you can duel with a lightsaber after all. |

i can't wait to get this! i might even have to get a few of those lightsaber controllers i saw!
although i do hope it has a little more then just dueling. that was the one thing that dissapointed me about the Bleach game i got for my birthday. |

It's just a dueling game, and does not use the new Wii Motion Plus, but it offers a special experience in terms of using styles and the force. For example, playing as Anakin won't feel the same as being Dooku.
I'm getting a Wii hopefully this winter and TFU and LD is on my list to buy for it, that's for sure. _________________ Andrew: EU Cantina.net Founder/ Communications Manager
