I won't personally expect any official information to be released for some time, not before both Clone Wars movie and TFU have come and gone and new projects will be able to get more publicity.

I know what you mean lol. I'm guilty of that as well. Because don't they have editors there thet keep things accurate? (or at least somewhat???)

While they do, the editors are just fans like you and I. Wookieepedia is an awesome resource, no doubts there, but it's not THE resource. But, back to FOTJ.

I'm hoping this a nice, short, few character series. I don't see why it needs to be a bunch of characters all the time; Han, Leia and Allana would make an awesome story by themselves.

I actually hope the opposite. I hope we see lots of characters that aren't just Skywalker-descents. Especially jedi. On the other hand, however, I definately hope they aren't pushed to the side.

I want to see Ben, Jaina, and Allana. More new Jedi as well as description about the galaxy would be great. I don't care about what happened to Lt.Col. HASJSJDBSJS, I care about the story. It can be three books and have a wonderful story and I'm all for that. I love reading, don't get me wrong, but throwing books down our throats isn't fun.

Lt. Col who?
I kind of doubt it will be just a trilogy. Which is fine by me. Very Happy

That's my point-- it doesn't matter. I made up the name because minor characters can easily be explained without devoting chapters to them. I don't want to see a huge series not because I don't like to read, but because it A. Detours readers just starting and B. Quality will no doubt go down unless the story is big enough for it.

Give us a little breather from LOTF, TCW, TFU, and then I saw throw us another series. People do like single character books like Darth Bane, so why not do that for awhile?

Oh, I see.
Wouldn't it be cool if there was a series and each book focused on only one character.

I hear rumors...:

That it will be another 9 part series. That the three authors will be Allston, Denning, and somebody Christie Golden (or something like that). Supposedly the first book is called Outcast and it focuses on Luke and Ben.

I don't know how much of that is truth, or at least will end up being used for real, but it's interesting. I'm disappointed it's another 9 part story, though. I was hoping for something shorter. And I'm a little anxious with Denning writing. With the way he wrote Invincible...Sad

A writer should never be judged on one work, espescially when that work did something that should be done, but was despised by fans.

I, too, hope this nine-book series rumor is false. Three books, one by Allston, one by Denning, and one by Christie Golden should be fine. If you start to do too much, you lose quality. Plus, if it's post-LOTF, we're getting short on room; Millennium Falcon and Traviss' Fett novel, now this maybe.

Oh, I didn't mean with how he killed off Jacen. That was actually one of the only things I liked about the book. I just meant how I thought it was very choppy and thrown together. No, one shouldn't judge an author by one book. You're right. Bnd I have to try hard not to say too much about Denning. There are plenty of his books that I liked. But there are also plenty that I did not. But guess I'll just have to keep an open mind! Smile

Same here, same here. I like some Denning, I dislike some Denning. I know you read before your judge; you've said it before and I've seen you do it. That's the best thing about the EUC community here.

Denning, if given Jedi, will write well. If he's given too much, like any author, really, will write well but not as well as before.

I for one am really hoping it's a nine book series. I loved the way LotF was structered. That way I always had a book to look forward to. I know this is just a rumor, but who could "Outcast" be reffering to? I was thinking it might mean Raynar. He's going to have to come out of his treatments eventually, right?
