Oooo, an appearance my Mirta would be awesome. Though I can't really see Mirta signing on to work for the GA after what Caedus did to her. You'd think she learned her lesson. I'm not sure I'd trust Daala enough to throw my trust back in with the GA.

Hmm, good point. I haven't read Millenium Falcon yet, and I'm still kind of confused by this: are the mandos working for the GA at all?

I'm not sure. It's kind of contradictory. Before Outcast, it was mentioned that Daala was using the Mandalorians, and she did have that little talk with Fett back in Revelation. But Outcast didn't talk about them at all, so I'm not sure if they're retconning it, or just saving them for later.

Maybe Christie Golden will pick up Karen Traviss' mantle for this series. Because Allston already has too many pet characters and as for Troy Denning... (Moderators take note: Troy is a swell guy and a decent authour, but when it comes to Mandos... That's all I was saying, I meant no disrespect).

Yahoo! I finally read Outcast! Very Happy

I actually really enjoyed it. I wasn't a huge fan of LOTF, so I didn't expect to be a big fan of this either. But it was really a pretty decent book. The Ben and Luke plot was what made me have to keep going, along with the plot with Jaina trying to capture Seff. The Leia and Han plot seemed random to me though, but I'm sure it will prove to be important, as they never discovered who created all of the machines and such. I just started Omen, and I'll come back to discuss Outcast's plot after I am caught up in FOTJ. Some questions or speculation I have for Outcast may already be revealed in the current books.

Congratulations OMB! The Kessel thing was really out of place, I agree.

It was more a throwback to the Bantam years than a real plot. Confused
