There is like a year between IC 1 and IC 2 - maybe enough time for a game to come out? Maybe then they can can include him?

I totally understand the reasons why they need to exclude him - too bad though.

Is there really? I didn't even know we had release dates for either.

The blog Sue posted : http://blogs.starwars.com/eeusuestornii/11

oct 2009 is the first book and july 2010 is the second book, so me and me big mouth - less than a year. Seems like enough time to put out a new game so Sev can be part of the novel, but I think I am over simplifying things. Smile

Oh, heh...I did read that. Thanks for reminding me! I wish they would do something with Sev as well. But how long's it been since Republic Commando? 3 years? I suppose there's always time for another one, but I just hope they don't forget about it. Confused

I just finished Order 66 and the back of my mind consistently wondered how RC would lead to IC. I guess I have my answer now. Before the last chapters or so, I was thinking that IC would feature Darman joining Delta Squad (since Niner would be incapacitated for a long time and Sev was missing) but Niner's recovery seems to put that to rest.

I'm hoping IC will also continue the Kyrimout story but I suppose we'll have to wait and see. Cool

Given the ground work they laid out with the imp. garrison I would be surprised if they dropped that part of the story. Then again we just do not know.

I have been thinking about imperial characters that might bet pulled into this story. Zey was overseeing the Spec. Forces, will we see Crix Madine? Darth Vader?

I think it'd be fun to see Delta serving under Vader. But it seems that Two-Edged Sword laid that to rest as to who would comprise the 501st. Though I guess they could still serve under him for special assignments...

I'm curious how long they stretch out the separation between Darman/Niner and Kyrimout though....I mean, the last two books have been wonderful examples of how proficient Skirata and his Null's are at slicing, infiltrating and the like. I can 't imagine Darman and Niner staying on the inside for a very long time at all...

I'm really intrigued to read this now, especially after finishing Order 66. So many loose ends = so many possibilites . . . I think it'll be great. Very Happy

We can only hope so. But judging from KT's previous entries, I think it's safe to assume that it won't stink, at least! Very Happy

Knowing her, part of it might concern the Imperial take-over of Mandalore. I can't imagine her just leaving the Skirata clan behind when she writes this...even if they do only have a minor part. Look what she managed to give us in her Legacy books, and those had nothing to do with them.

I am looking forward to these books, though, quite a lot.

Na, I don't think Skirata clan will be overrun . . . I think their role will be mainly raising Kad'ika, finding the cure to the accelerated growth, and getting Darman and Niner home.

We know the 501st is going to play a big part. Might Delta become a part of it? Plus they'll be Skirata skimming around in the background of the Empire, trying to find a cure for his clones and getting as many to safety as he can. The hardest part we'll be when he has to start fighting the Stormtroopers who are really the clone troopers he'd like to save.

Maybe Skirata will refuse to fight the stormtroopers, and get shot down by the very clones he means to save?
