I'm probably not the only one playing the Topp Star Wars Trading Card Game, so feel free to chime in here with recent awesome cards you've gotten, cards you're after, and most importantly, what's your screen name (I'm Skuldren of course).

Right now I'm trying to collect white cards to finish off some sets. I haven't been going after the marathon chase stuff yet as I'm still pretty new and getting used to the thing.

Oh, and if you don't know what the game is, it's a free phone app game from Topps where you trade digital Star Wars cards, just like the physical cards. Each day you get 25,000 credits which you can spend on digital packs. Packs randomly include prized insert cards. That, and the normal cards have color values (White < Blue < Red < Yellow < Gold, but there's also orange, pink and teal which factor in some how).

I did not know about this game! The app, that is. But you already have a new convert. Downloaded and ready to play. I'll post back once I've gotten the hang of it. Thanks, Skuldren! Smile

Ha ha! Already have 2 super-rare cards! Bossk and Captain Rex. Does anyone know a sort of rating system as how much as I should trade for?

Not really. But if you flip the card, you can see how rare it is. Generally I try to trade for a card of equal rarity.

Well there's a color scheme for how rare the cards are.

White is the most basic card, so...White < Blue < Red < Yellow < Gold. Gold is the most valuable.

But there's other card colors that are sometimes available like Teal, Pink, Green and Orange. Getting them sometimes gives you a shot at getting another card. If you go to Transmissions, you can see all the current promotions.

I also found out last night that if you don't have enough credits to buy a pack of cards, and you click to purchase a pack, there's an option to watch to earn credits. You watch a commercial and they give you free credits. Some of them pay pretty good, but it's nowhere near as much as the daily credits.

You also have a chance at getting a special insert card every time you buy a pack.

I decided that I like being organized, so using what we learned today in Business class, I created a spreadsheet that organizes all of my cards and shows me what they are and how many I have of what color.

Anyone get any cool inserts yet?

I've got Melas and Muftak from the Mos Eisley set, Asajj from Women of Star Wars set, a Vintage Rancor, Fan's Choice Nexu, Obi-Wan and Gamorrean, a Lando Street Art, and then Boba Fett I Am.

Really wanted to get the Ahsoka Women of Star Wars insert.

Lately I've been going after the Mos Eisley inserts. I love the cantina aliens. Made a couple trades to pick up some of the Women of Star Wars cards I missed.
