Family Guy - Something Something Something Darkside

The sequel to Blue Harvest is coming, and just to wet your chops here's a new article revealing a few details. Among them is the possibility of it coming to DVD before it's actually aired. We'll just have to wait and see.

I am really looking forward to this. First one was great.

Some updates here in this recent interview with Family Guy's executive producer David Goodman. He reveals that Something Something Something Darkside will probably air at the end of next season. He also revealed that the planned third Star Wars spoof will indeed have Ewoks. You can check it out here.

Yeah I have the 1st one, I don't follow the show, but it was so hilarious I've given the show a second try. Still not a fan, but LOVE their Star Wars stuff! Can't wait for the ENTIRE SAGA Wink

I got it. The first one was better. More foul language in this one. They're both good though. I hope they do them all.

I actually enjoyed this one more than the first one, though a lot of that might have to do with the fact that I loathe Herbert's character (Family Guy's Obi-Wan). The show has already pilfered the most obvious ESB jokes over the years, so it's nice to get a more nuanced take on the movie that has a humor level directly relative to how many times you've seen ESB. A lot of the jokes would be lost on a casual viewer, I feel.

I thought it was funny, and I also thought it was better than Blue Harvest. There's some good laughs in there. Laughing

It's sad that my first post back here in the EU forums is to blast this Family Guy DVD.

I hated it. I thought the first one was "wrong" (said in a tongue and cheek fashion) but it was FUNNY! This one just missed (messed more like it) the mark as a whole. It "tried" to be funny but was more revolting then side splitting humor. It appeared that the comedy was forced with no real "flow." It was trying to be funny just to "be funny" but failed.

I know that I am the "old fart" in these forums but I do know funny. I loved the Hangover (kids under 21 SHOULD NOT!! watch this movie - if you do, don't blame me if you get caught by your parents - I warned you Smile

), watch Mel Brooks movies all the time (Blazing Saddles Uncut and not PC'ed out anyone?) The Three Stooges, Marx Brothers, Airplane, American Pie, Harold & Kumar, Fanboys - I can go on and on.

This DVD (to me) was not funny. I gave it to my cousin cuz I wanted it out of the house.
