Top Five Post-LotF Characters

Who are you looking forward to the most in the post-LotF era. Here are mine:

5. Jagged Fel: With the end of Invincible, it will be interesting to see how far he goes (maybe Emperor Jagged Fel)
4. Luke Skywalker: I'd like to see Luke back in action as a strong leader. In LotF, he was grief consumed (even near suicidal) and it was hard for his character to really shine. Whatever the new threat is, I hope he's the one to take it down.
3. Jaina Solo: It should be interesting how she'll deal with the events from Invincible. Also starting a family...
2. Ben Skywalker: My favorite character from LotF. Hopefully he'll get a Solo mission (or a mission with #1(see below))
1. Seha Dorvald: With Aaron Allston writting Outcast, she may have a bright future...

3 Boba Fett - where will he take the Mandos
4 Ben Skywalker - He grew on me after a while
5 Syal Antilles - I want a new rogue squadron series Smile

1. Jaina Solo - time to kick some butt and pick it back up with Jag
2. Jagged Fel - convince her, slowpoke, you're not getting any younger!
3. Han Solo - would like to see Han back in a more 'normal' role, or as close to that as he can ever get again
4. Ben Skywalker - time for him to grow for real
5. Boba Fett - himself in general

Jagged Fel: He's gonna get the girl. He has to. I'd be sorely disappointed if he didn't
Han Solo: He's always been my favorite character, and I hope he starts to shine more.
Allana: Jacen's daughter should be getting older. Maybe she'll be mature beyond her years or something.
Boba Fett: He's still around and still awesome.
Leia: Hopefully she goes back to her more traditional character role.

I've been so disappointed with most of the characters, there isn't a list until a character shows me something worthy of my respect. I'm going to have to read more (well, any; Falcon is waiting on my desk) before I even make predictions; I unfortuantly think the down hill trend since post-NJO is just going to continue for me Sad

I read through the whole series, purchasing every book the day it came out, excited for what would happen next and trying to keep the most open mind I could, but overall I wasn't very happy. And the more I hear about FotJ, the more my suppressed hatred (apparently) for the LotF is coming to the surface. I'll try to be better, and sorry for my recent rants Sad

EDIT: (response to DS comment below). There is hope, it's just growing more and more distant. I have Millennium Falcon so we'll see how that goes.

Most of the characters I want to see were featured almost exclusively in Karen Traviss' novels;

5: Mirta Gev; what will happen to her and her marraige?
4: Jaing Skirata; where's he been, and what the heck is he up to?
3: Jusik/Gotab/whatever he calls himself, is a 90-something Mando still fighting?
2:Kad/Venku; what's his plan for Mandalore now that Fett can't come back?
1: Boba Fett; what next?

maybe I'm a little Mando-centric nowadays, but those are the questions and characters that pop into my noggin in idle moments. Smile

I scoff at all treasonous slander on the future of Star Wars, for one thing we should never be short on is HOPE! And make note that being a Mando fanatic there are NO Mandos on my list. For one, Traviss is the only one who can write them and she's only got one novel post-LOTF that I know of, so I must look to others. And number two, there's so many of them that I'm having trouble keeping them straight and remembering them. *bangs bucket head against wall*

Well, I'm optimistic today, so...

1. Anakin Solo, in whatever form.
2. Jacen Solo, in whatever form.
3. Allana.
4. Luke Skywalker.
5. Han&Leia Solo. I always consider those two together in the post-RotJ era.

For the upcoming books:

1. Jaina Solo
2. Vestara
3. Ben Skywalker
4. Jagged Fel
5. Leia Solo

I hope Tenel Ka will pop up, too. She has to.
