I hate to ask this, cause it might be a big job...but is there any way all the Star Wars books could be listed in alphabetical order with the artists following? That way we could find the artist for a particular book. Neutral

BTW, great list! Smile

I tackled "a lot" of the comics first and some of the Wizards of the Coast artists. Book artists are next. As well as a picture gallery. Like it says, under construction. Smile

And suggestions always welcomed!

Maybe if you have time, you could put up the artists that did concept art for games. Force Unleashed for example had incredible art.

And again, awesome job. I have been visiting a lot of the links you posted.

While browsing for artist's pages I found a nice site that had a page displaying the concept art for the prequels. Be sure to check it out here. There are some really good works there plus some very surprising ones (like a female version of Darth Maul and a Sith Witch!).

I'm not sure that first picture is necessarily supposed to be female. I read about it years ago and how it originated. Apparently George told the concept artist to draw his worst nightmare, and that's what he came up with. He said his worst nightmare would be a dark and stormy night when this creature (the one pictured) would look in at him through the rainstreaked window. When this idea was presented to Lucas, he reportedly said, "Okay. How about you show me your second worst nightmare?" To which the guy replied, "You mean clowns?" Very Happy

At least that's what I read on Star Wars Kids back before they got rid of the site. It had a lot of neat information that you don't normally see posted.

But anyway, some of those other ones are pretty neat, too. The Mace Windu one throws me off...I thought Mace Windu was specifically created for Samuel Jackson. Would this pic perhaps suggest otherwise?

Great work, although I still believe no other SW artists come close to touching Wheatley or Duuresema.
