Great show as always.
Since the main topic of the show was the Old Republic MMO, here is what I think.
So far I see a lot of promises about how cool and diferent it will be, but I am not that excited about it. I think that MMO was NOT the best option for a new Kotor game.
They say they will focus more on story then doing boring useless tasks like most MMOs are. But there has been other MMOs that claim the same thing in the past, but nevern been able to deliver.
ABout Bioware saying it is excited about the game, well I think they are because MMO are by far the most profitable game types ever. Every month the company keeps getting revenues for the game it sold for years.
MMO are not good for story telling, if they want a game to tell stories, they should have done a normal RPG., like the old Kotor games, I look at how amazing the current gen consoles RPGs are like Mass Effect, and I wonder how a real Kotor game would be on these platforms.
About Galaxies, they said it will not go away for now, But I dont know how much you can trust that statement, they would be shooting themselves if they said they will be cancelling the game. The last thing a company wants when anoucing a new MMO, is that the loyal fan from his old one are going to get screewd. Bad PR.
