In New York there used to be lots of train hubs connecting the major cities and towns together (or so I am told by the people who were alive back then). Sadly they fell out of use and closed so now we need cars to go anywhere. That being said gas prices dropped to $4.03 today. Sad that prices are so bad that a 5 cent drop merits celebration. _________________

So I do my best to top them off at some point in the week and I've found that really helps improve mileage, especially if you do a lot of highway driving (which I do). _________________

And since 1 gallon is 3.7854 litres, the price of gas in Eastern Ontario is: $4.997 per gallon. And the Canadian dollar is roughly par with the US dollar. Oh, and I was in Geneva about a month ago, and the price there was 1.64 CHF per litre (the Swiss Franc is also roughly par with USD). Cheapest I've seen is $3,99 but I've also seen it spike as high as $4.15. I'm kind of concerned how tourist season will be affected here in New York since my area really depends on people driving up to camp and hike. _________________

This area never wanted to tip over $3.99 back when they were up so high last time. But it's creeping.
