Plus they look cool in the comics...it just doesnt turn out that well in the movies...I wudve loved to see Hugh Jackman wearing the yellow spandex suit that Wolverine traditionaly wears!!!!!!

We seem to forget Iron Man. Before Batman came out, this was the hottest movie of the summer, and was called the greatest superhero movie ever. I think it was good, but Batman was sooo much better. Who agrees that Dark Knight was the best film this summer?

I am tempted to agree with you, even though I haven't seen it yet, just because of what a friend of mine told me. She is in the movie-making business (well...she's going to school for it at the moment, anyway), and it's hard to watch a movie with her. She can't help but criticize every fault. Yet, with Dark Knight, she said it was the first movie she was able to watch without criticizing, and could actually enjoy it all the way through. Well...she did criticize one of the actor's acting, but that was it. Sooo...soon as I'm able to see it, I'll place an actual opinion.

@FatalFist: you will not get me to say that Tropic Thunder is a better movie than Batman The Dark Knight...however, I would say it's possibly the best comedy of the year (though I didn't see too many comedies this year) and that it beats Batman in being a more upbeat, fun, and funny film.

Now, back to Iron Man. I thought Iron Man was a great film. It was fun, entertaining, and surprised me at how much it exceeded my expectations. I thought Iron Man was better than Indy IV, and lost out to Batman only due to Ledger's outstanding dramatic performance as the Joker.

But, can we just sit back and hope that these people can get the job done? Is it part of our responsibility as citizens of this country to help it improve? Or do we just wait for others to make it better?
