The thread Padme started about misleading book summaries and I started thinking about some trailers that are pretty misleading.

1. Where the Wild Things Are. This movie, while still great, is no where near as wonderous as they make it look:

2. Prince Caspian (superbowl). Sure it was darker than the first, but lightning?! Come on. Rolling Eyes :

I don't know how popular this thread will be, but if you have any in mind feel free to post 'em. Wink

Terminator Salvation. While I loved the movie, it wasn't anything like what I had expected from the trailer.

Push. They make events in the trailer seem supper cool- but all the scenes were out of context to give an illusion to something cooler.

Movie still rocked despite that.

District 9, thought it would be sci-fi epic, instead a documentary styled film, very misleading.

Star Trek - They made it seem like it was actually the beginning, instead of starting off an "alternate universe"... Mad

Still was a cool movie.
