"Sh-Boom" - The Chords. Why do so few people make happy music like this nowadays?

I found a new podcast to listen to, called The Thrilling Adventure Hour. It's a new-time podcast in the style of old-time radio. Fun little 20-minute comedy sketches, fully voiced on stage, with music and a live audience, with sketches like:

-Beyond Belief (two wealthy mediums who drink a lot and see ghosts)
-Sparks Nevada, Marshall on Mars
-Jefferson Reid, Ace American
-Amelia Earhart, Fearless Flyer
-The Cross-Time Adventures of Colonel Tick-Tock
-Captain Laserbeam!
-Tales from the Black Lagoon (a story of Hollywood noir)

It's so much fun. Nathan Fillion is Jefferson Reid, Ace American. John Dimaggio is Captain Laserbeam. It's great.

Surprised by my commercial radio station (driving): Iron Maiden- Fear of the Dark followed by Guns and Roses- Civil war.

OK. Shocked

No complains here. Rock on. Cool

Speaking of podcasts that cover music, I recommend checking out Rock Out Loud. It's hosted by Kristin and Steve Glosson (who occasionally shows up on a lot of Star Wars podcasts). So far they've covered Bruce Springsteen, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Matchbox 20 and they did a great traveling music show. They play lots of audio clips of the song and cover a lot of interesting trivia about the bands and music. It's a lot of fun to listen to.

Dang, the radio around here (Dallas) wouldn't touch Maiden.
