Thanks, Dannik. He was a Cockatiel, and he was my baby. The vet sent me a handwritten note yesterday that made me cry. I'm sure I'll get another bird one day, but this was and always will be my boy.

I'm unsure if the first part is directed at me or Mara. On the offchance you meant me, thanks, mate Smile .

Why do you hate summer?

I've been in a rotten mood the entire week. I need to get out of this rut.

Same. Its been one of those weeks. One of those years actually, but the last couple of weeks especially. Something insane must be done.

Feel like I'm playing whack-a-mole with computer viruses at work at the minute. Get rid of one, two more pop up. 7 infected machines in a week, plus malware on our servers Mad

One of my managers snapped at me at work. Not pleased.

Being in an enclosed space (my house) with my family for extended periods of time always leads to fighting. And my parents get annoyed as well because I'm on the computer or Xbox a lot. (Despite my brother and sister doing exactly the same, except they're watching TV)

And another gripe; I think Wheezywaiter is doing a beardlover (fan) meetup on the day I leave on holiday Sad

Edit: The holiday is a beach holiday, which is always GREAT for a self-conscious, pale, skinny teenager.

Okay, the Causeway isn't all awesome. Currently stuck, standstill stuck, about 16 miles across. Not sure what's wrong, but I'm parked. Guess I could swim home. Yay. Neutral

Going to the Olympics. It's raining and I don't give a Sith about sports. We're leaving at 1:30 and the thing isn't until 7.

Last week my Internet connection was down most of the time.

I've missed the 21st century.

Yea, that happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Was down all weekend, along with the cable and home phone (all three services from the same company).

So I called the cable company, and I made them remove all charges from my account for those two days. And then I also made them waive the overage fees for my wife's iPhone, since she only went over the limit because she spent two days without the wifi at home.

@Dannik, re Holidays: I hear you. My recommendation: books. If you're not into swimming or otherwise being all out there, the beach is a nice spot to simply read on a lounger for a few hours.

I had to get some medication for my dog today. She's getting old and has some arthritis in her legs. Sad
