Normally I don't mind because the people I work with can be an entertaining mixture of cool and horrid, but today I've been having a good day, I've been reading like crazy, I got to hear from some friends, and I just don't want to ruin this with a full evening working a boring job in the heat with nothing but a season of The Big Bang Theory to keep me from losing my mind. Would a round of Soft Kitty help? I closed last night at work and we were extremely unstaffed. I accidentally scraped a car but the salesman covered up for me and I wound up making $20 for a ten minute car clean for a manager. He loves the heck out of me and I'm the best worker he has so even though I scratched a truck he's going to charge me next to nothing. He's going to try anyway. I work my butt off for him so he's trying but it'll still mean docked paychecks. I may save a couple so that when the docking starts I can just hand him one paycheck and call us even and scrape by for 2 weeks. _________________ Perfection is a lifelong pursuit requiring sacrifice. Lots of yelling and insults and hair pulling (literally). I'm trying my best not to vent, so I'll just wrap it up with the an 'I can't believe I'm related to them'. _________________ I am a Star Wars fan. That doesn't mean that I hate or love Jar Jar. That doesn't mean I hate or love Lucas, or agree or disagree 100% with him. That doesn't mean I prefer the PT over the OT, or vice versa. That doesn't mean I hate the EU, or even love all of it. These are not prerequisites. Being a man is not a prerequisite. Being a geek is not a prerequisite. The only prerequisite is that I love something about Star Wars. I am a Star Wars fan.

Corellias Dream Knight Joined: 03 Apr 2012 Posts: 103 Location: UK I've been lurching around awkwardly the last week or so - an MS relapse affecting my left leg and making the knee stiff and painful, with phantom itching, which is maddening. It seemed a bit easier this morning, and I walked downstairs almost normally - just slower and still holding on to both banisters. Then I bent over to straighten up a plant and my lower back went into spasm. It's calmed down a bit now, but still painful and I'm back to hobbling agian, with added pain.
