California and New York I believe both participate in Super Tuesday. It will really narrow down the field of choices for the others that follow.

California is tomorrow, as is NY, NJ, and a bunch of other states. All are closed to each party.

I don't like to go by parties; I'm a registered Republican, but that's only because their more conservative. As for experience, I don't think any job but President can get you ready for it; no job is like it.

Also, I still don't see examples that Hilary is a good candidate.

How about this, I'll do more research and get back to you. My big opinion is that I believe she has the personality to work along with other countries, even if they view her inferior by being a woman. And, I see building our international image a big part of the next president's job. Plus, I trust her economic plan without looking at it thoroughly because she is a Democrat, but I've repeatedly stressed how important it is to do research, so I'll do more of that and get back to you Wink

Also, I count on conservatives and moderates from letting extreme views and funds get out there but I do want the basis of those views out there (such as welfare but it shouldn't help people who are just going to see it as free money, especially if they're from another country illegally but that can be saved for another thread.

Some of us were talking about the new smilies in another thread; they are a great addition!

Last time I checked, Huckabee was doing pretty good today. I'll have to go watch the news and see what's happened.

EDIT: Again, all personal information should be discussed via PM.

Edit- private information can be asked via PM, as stated in Board Rules.

I have a fleeting thought of what you wanted to ask me....

Anyway, last I saw Hilary was leading in the Democratic party. That's a relief. It's going to be tight between her and Obama.

When will we know the results of today's polls?

Probably tomorrow. Even though the coverage tonight will give us a general idea, the most "concrete" numbers will be tomorrow I suspect.

Well I voted for Huckabee. Out of all the candidates, he is the one who impressed me the most with his responses in the debates. He's intelligent and quick on his feet. And I don't mind his religious background because it makes me feel a little safer knowing the guy in charge has some religious values.

One of the biggest deciding factors in my choice of candidates is their stances on gun control. Hilary wants to reissue the assault rifle ban, and Obama actually wants to make all semi-automatic firearms illegal. Romney is in the middle, not completely opposed but not completely for. Whereas McCain and Huckabee are pro-gun. Thus Huckabee gets my vote, and McCain would be my runner up.

Well the Dems are in a very close race, it should get very interesting.

McCain did great last night, and Huckabee got five states. Romney didn't have the best night. Dems are very close...
