I have nothing against immigration, nothing against the Hispanics coming over here. But I am very for them doing it the right way. It totally irks me the way they can come in and get free care and free whatever and all that stuff. I know a few people from Mexico who legally came over, and they aren't complaining about the woes of becoming a citizen and all that. Sure, it isn't the easiest thing in the world, but it is our country, not theirs. It shouldn't be an easy matter. The changing of the language from Wal-Mart to the local convenient store really has me up in arms. This is America, and we speak English. It's that simple. I recently went to Romania, and I didn't expect them to all speak English to me. And they didn't. I tried my best to learn what words I could and get along. I ordered a chocolate donut in Romanian. I used a translator for most things, but then I was only there for a few weeks. If I was going there to live, I would learn their language. Agh! Sorry...that's a sore spot for me. Down here in Louisiana everything is dubbed in Spanish. When I go to some websites of American companies and the first thing it asks me is, "English or Spanish", I get annoyed. Same with the phones. Grrr...
