Coming in by just reading the previous post, a Luke/Mara/Ben novel by Zahn would be enjoyable even if it takes place before LotF. My only concern would be characters, because it just be rebellious Ben hearing lessons from his parents but not listening to a word of it. But I guess you could tell a story where the three develop a strong bond and then it's just missing in LotF like a few of the LotF books did anyhow. I'm anxious for more Zahn nevertheless   |
Well I think Zhan could pull it off- the book could have then start by patching the rift, only to after all the bonding end with the rift just as wide or wider.....
