And why in the name of the Force is Obi-Wan fighting Grievous AGAIN? Pretty much no need for Grievous to explain to Obi-Wan that he is trained in the Jedi arts in ROTS...

Oh well, at least we get some cool clone action, I think of the Clone Wars series as an alternate universe anyway, due to it conflicting with many of the things in Episode III.

I like to think that the older animated Clone Wars series (gennedy tsartovinsky) was the real thing and that this new series is like, its like a holovid of the whole thing. People are watching the adventures of Obi-Wan and Anakin in theatres or at home on Coruscant, much like we can't seem to stop making movies with nasty political agendas and films about our current war. Have you noticed that while they make Anakin look like a hotshot who plays with his own rules, they don't really show his dark much? He's a hero so I think this is a holovid. I also think that to explain the whole 'him & padme' thing, well, that's just tabloid speculation that made good holovid storyline. There, I've removed it from continuity. Let us never speak of it again.

I don't like the Obi-Wan girlfriend thing. Its kind of dissing Siri, because she was Obi-Wans love interest, and its dumb to pretend that she doesn't even matter.

I just think that if they would even attempt to do the whole Obi Wan in love story line, they should've used Siri, not some new chick.

This whole CW series isn't really about existing EU, so why use Siri Wink

At first I didn't like the idea, but I actually feel it might be able to work, from the trailer. I can't, of course, decide until I see an episode but it looks fair enough.

Also, Jedi Joe, I'm sure you didn't mean it offensively, but please refrain from calling Dave Filoni "Cowboy Dave;" it could get taken the wrong way by some people. Thanks Very Happy

Wow. Everyone's so negative. Confused

I thought the trailer was great (I had trouble sleeping last night Embarassed

)! I would have rather had Siri, but it looks like it could actually be interesting and it wasn't Boba Fett, but WHO FREAKING CARES!? The Mandos looked so cool, I can't wait to see them. Cool

What's bad about Sidious hiring Cad Bane? Anyway, this is just me, but I can't wait!
EDIT: Did anyone else notice the Mando had a lightsaber? Interesting.

Two thoughts...

Number One: So much Cad Bane...so kriffing AWESOME! *does dance*

...okay, got that out of my system. Now for Number Two: I hope I hope I hope I hope this won't be like the Ryloth Trilogy Trailer. When that came out, I was like "This is going to be so awesome!" Then I realized that they had already shown all the awesome parts and the episodes kind of bombed. That said, I wish I hadn't watched the trailer as I'd rather not have all the best scenes from season 2 spoiled. I hope in the coming months I'll be able to forget all that awesomeness. Cool

Good point. I still enjoyed the emotin of the Ryloth Trilogy, but when they were fighting, I always knew what shots were coming up. Sad

Two reasons to be hopeful though.
1) Ryloth was only three episodes, while this could be from who knows how many.
2) Most of these shots are probably from the first handful of episodes, like what they did before Season 1 came out. So even ifa couple are like Ryloth by no means will the whole season.

And besides, when I watch the Star Wars movies, I know what's coming up and I still enjoy them. Very Happy

As if that Mando wasn't cool enough already! It's really cool how Mark still does stuff like this, as opposed to most of the other actors.
