AWESOME! This is the first I've heard of this. I definitely hyped about this game now.

I was thirlled to hear it was on the PS2. Currently, I don't have the funds for a new system but I think I can find someway to get the game. As we get closer to it's release, I think I'll look more into the facts and everything (I've found the page here on the forums Very Happy).

Is it bad that I'm so exited I want to pre-order it even though I don't have a system to play it on?

It depends... Wink I have it pre-ordered, but the best way to go is pre-ordering it via Lucasarts. They have it cheaper than stores, and it comes with a comic. (Not the comic that comes out in June, but another one.)

As you can see, I, too, am super excited.

Yeah I saw that offer on Lucasarts too.Cool When I saw the comic pre-order offer I thought "oh! Must pre-order!" that was of course promptly followed by "oh wait, I don't have a system to play it on. Fierfek!" Guess I'm gonna start thinking about putting aside money for a Wii.

There's a comic that comes out in June though? I'll definitely have to look into that at the very least. Very Happy

Yep; it's actually going to display the events right before the game, I believe, and go into the start of the game. It's by DH.

Do you have the PS2? According to the site it has extra characters and levels to make it a unique experience, and it will push the PS2 to its limits.. seems worth it to me.

Yay! I was worried I couldn't play it . . .

Yep. It will be coming to many consoles, and I can't wait.

Here's a question: Who do you think Vader was fighting in Spike's first look at the first level: the Apprentice himself or his father?

I assumed his father, and now, looking at TFU's Wookiepedia entry, it states that Kento, his father, fights Vader... Wow, I actually guessed right!?

Here's an image of the fight: I think it's the father

Are we talking about Darth Vader? As in Anakin Skywalker? I thought he didn't have a father.

Edit: Never mind, I get it now.

I just saw a preview on X-play today and they were playing the duel mode for the Wii. It looked awesome. Looked like they were fighter in the hangar of a Star Destroyer. It was Luke vs Asaaj Ventress and they were chucking TIEs at each other. You can even throw them out the airlock and into space. I think there were 27 playable characters in duel mode including Mara Jade and one or two others from the EU.

One thing I didn't catch was whether the duel mode is only for the Wii or all the systems...

As I understand it, the duel mode is only available the Wii version. One of the great things about the duel mode is that it has a few EU characters, most notably, Mara Jade.

Ah yes. She will definitely be the first character I play with in Duel Mode. Very Happy

Does anyone know if Revan is on the duel mode list? He'd be my pick of EU characters to play as.

As far as I know, no. The only EU characters are Mara, Secura (can't spell first name) and maybe one or two others. But no Revan, at least, not that I remember.

Nope. Revan didn't make the list. Actually most of the twenty something characters in duel mode are just Vader's Apprentice with different outfits.
