Aw, poor Ted. We're your friends!
If it's the story I think ya'll are talking about, with the 501st Clones, it's In His Image, and/or Two-Edged Sword. And they're in the back of the paperback Betrayal. Apparently In His Image was originally published in Vader: The Ultimate Guide, and then reprinted in Star Wars Magazine UK 61, as well. Two-Edged Sword was originally printed in Star Wars Insider 85. And I'm pretty sure that's the one you mean. Vader was busy cloning Dark Jedi, but eventually settled for cloning his lieutenant Erv Lekauf. So yep.

Isn't that second one awesome? It reminds me of the original art for A New Hope, too. Weren't the Stormtroopers originally supposed to have lightsabers? Too cool.  _________________
